Skiing and snowboarding in Flachau Mountains within easy reach
The altitude is tailor made for the generous facilities of the Flachau ski mountains. Because of the topography, between 1000 and 2000 meters, the mountains in the Salzburg Alps seem to have been created for piste enjoyment. At 925 m, the valley station of the Flachau is almost guaranteed snow, with ski gondolas travelling directly to the neighbouring ski region oft the Salzurger Sportwelt - and back again.
A lot of skiing fun with just one skiing ticket | Flachau and Flachauwinkl are of course right the heart of the Ski amadé, the largest Austrian ski region providing 276 mountain railways and 865 km of pistes.

Flachauwinkl is a paradise for boarder. There a cool get to gether well known by snowboarder is the Absolut park - one of most extended terrain boarder parks in the entire Alpine region.

The modern mountain railways in the home of the Herminator Hermann Maier, set new standards for quality and service, rent-a-ski and a large variety of ski schools are ready for takeoff, floodlight-skiing, free-rinding and half pipes complete the fun on the pistes.
